The menu is naturally healthy, with excellent vegan and vegetarian options, ethically sourced produce, a strong cocktail list, and a busy weekend brunch alongside consistently strong weekday trade.
The Restaurant
- 60\-cover restaurant with a small private dining area
- Central bar where guests dine and drink
- Single\-floor dining room, kitchen located downstairs (service lift in place)
- Open 7 days a week: lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch
- Consistently busy, particularly midweek
- Very stable kitchen team — maintaining this relationship is a priority
We are looking for a hands\-on General Manager who leads from the floor. This is not an office\-led role. You must enjoy service, thrive under pressure, and be present during busy shifts.
As General Manager, you will be fully responsible for the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant while setting the tone for standards, culture, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop a FoH team of 8\-10
- Be highly visible on the floor during service
- Deliver consistent service standards and guest experience
- Manage rotas, labour control, and stock
- Understand and manage P\&L
- Coach and develop your management and front\-of\-house team
- Work closely with the kitchen to maintain a strong, respectful partnership
- Protect and build the culture and reputation of the brand
- Proven experience as a General Manager, or strong Restaurant Manager ready to step up
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Solid understanding of P\&L, rotas, and stock control
- Service\-first mindset — calm, visible, and decisive
- Comfortable in a fast\-paced, hands\-on environment
- Pride in standards, team culture, and hospitality
- £48,000–£50,000 total package, including tronc
- 48\-hour full\-time contract
