<p><strong>Your mission as a General Manager</strong></p>
<p>DACH is Appinio’s flagship market and primary revenue driver. Instead of building from zero, you will step into an established, high-performing organization to drive its next phase of scale and operational maturity.</p>
<p>Your mission is to establish single-point leadership across the region. You will own the DACH strategy and P&L, represent Appinio as our primary brand ambassador on industry stages, lead complex enterprise negotiations, and optimize our cross-functional GTM teams and further accelerate growth.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Own GTM Strategy & Decision-Making:</strong> Serve as the final authority on DACH market strategy, priorities, and resource allocation, focus on creating internal alignment, resource planning and establishing a clear operating rhythm across teams.</li>
<li><strong>Hold End-to-End P&L Accountability:</strong> Take a holistic view across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success (CS), to identify where to optimize, invest, or restructure to maximize regional growth and operating margin.</li>
<li><strong>Lead Complex Enterprise Deals:</strong> Personally lead or co-lead high-stakes commercial negotiations and enterprise client pitches, leveraging deep Quantitative Market Research expertise to establish instant authority.</li>
<li><strong>Act as Appinio’s Brand Ambassador:</strong> Publicly represent Appinio across the DACH region—owning stage presentations, keynotes, media opportunities, and executive network-building to become the primary face of the brand in-market.</li>
<li><strong>Drive Cross-Functional Alignment:</strong> Directly lead DACH Marketing, Sales, and CS leads while building a tight, influential strategic partnership with the Research Consulting group to ensure seamless alignment between strategy and research delivery.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You will thrive in this role if</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>You bring proven operational discipline in scale:</strong> You have a strong track record scaling or optimizing an established, multi-functional organization in a mature market context (ideally DACH), demonstrating structural thinking and governance over "0-to-1 founder mode" hustle.</li>
<li><strong>You possess deep Quantitative Market Research authority:</strong> You hold, credible domain expertise in Quant MR (agency, vendor, or tech platform side) and can step into high-stakes technical or methodological discussions with senior client insights leads without ramp-up.</li>
<li><strong>You have hands-on P&L management experience:</strong> You have successfully owned and optimized a regional or global P&L in a mature business environment, making cross-functional resource tradeoffs to drive overall market performance.</li>
<li><strong>You are a confident, high-profile public spokesperson:</strong> You are charismatic and experienced on stage, comfortable in front of press and industry bodies, and hold (or can rapidly build) strong executive credibility within DACH insights and marketing circles.</li>
<li><strong>You excel at leading through influence:</strong> You have demonstrated political skill and stakeholder diplomacy, allowing you to align and lead cross-functional teams that may not directly report to you.</li>
<li><strong>You bring a strong GTM focus and operational savvy:</strong> You possess KPI-driven leadership for GTM teams paired with AI savvy regarding automation across GTM functions.</li>
<li><strong>You are fluent in German and English:</strong> You possess native or bilingual fluency in German alongside professional fluency in English.</li>
</ul>
