General Manager
We are seeking a mature, personable, and highly experienced General Pub Manager to lead our busy pub in the heart of the Ickenham community. This is a customer\-facing role where your ability to engage with guests, build loyalty, and create a warm, friendly environment will be just as important as your operational expertise.
About the Role
As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day\-to\-day running of the pub, leading from the front and setting the standard for exceptional customer service. You will be visible on the floor, actively engaging with customers, supporting your team, and ensuring every guest enjoys a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of pub operations
- Deliver outstanding customer service and community engagement
- Build strong relationships with regular customers and local groups
- Lead, motivate, and develop the pub team
- Manage stock, cash handling, and compliance requirements
- Drive sales and profitability through excellent service and standards
- Maintain a welcoming, safe, and well\-presented environment
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Pub Manager
- Strong people skills with a genuine passion for customer interaction
- A natural conversationalist who enjoys getting to know customers
- Hands\-on leadership style with a willingness to support all areas of the business
- Commercially aware with sound operational knowledge
- Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high standards
Pay: £55,000\.00\-£60,000\.00 per year
