General Manager ( Multi \- Site): Bar and Restaurant
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager as we expand our portfolio in 2026 \- from our 3 current local venues to 2 further additional venues in the forthcoming year. To work at the various locations throughout the week to support and advise the on\-site management teams to ensure smooth, efficient and profitable operations are delivered at each site in order to grow the business and drive revenue forward.
You will work with the Area Manager and Marketing Manager with creative ideas for the business. Set key objectives, procedures and problem solving.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality and leading a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in hospitality who can successfully deliver to key measures in a competitive market. Being front and centre in leading the team to achieve key sales building objectives is an important skillset for the jobholder.
Lead and manage all aspects of bar and restaurant operations, including food production, service, customer satisfaction and best practice.
Supervise and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
Co\-ordinate kitchen activities, including cooking, food presentation and inventory management.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and standards to optimise efficiency and growth.
Monitor financial performance, control costs and optimise revenue streams.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practice across all departments.
Manage supplier relationships and oversee procurement processes for kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Handle customer feedback professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction and customer experience.
Organise and deliver staff training programmes to enhance skills in culinary techniques, service excellence and safety protocols.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in supervising teams within a bar restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and coach staff towards excellence.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and culinary trends.
- Experience in managing food safety standards and food production processes.
- Previous experience in bar and restaurant operations, including serving, hospitality management and barista experience.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers and customers professionally.
- This role requires a proactive leader with a passion for delivering outstanding bar and dining experiences while ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the business.
Pay: £35,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
