General Manager
Job Description:
A \& M Group are a family run multi\-franchise group. Since we started in 1986 we have grown to become a well known main dealer for agricultural and construction equipment for for premium brands such as Bobcat and Case IH.
We are looking to employ a General Manager who will be based at our head office in Bridgend. We require an experienced individual to enhance our already successful team and assist us to grow.
The Role / Requirements of this General Manager:
· You will be knowledgeable and experienced in the construction/agricultural machinery industry – knowledge of telehandlers/tractors/excavators would be beneficial.
· You might have experience of management in this sector or will have the skill set to progress from a workshop/service manager role.
· You will liaise with existing managers and administrators to ensure the smooth flow of work through the business which includes a weekly visit to each depot (travel expenses will be covered).
· Great communication will be needed to deal with both our new and existing customers regarding any concerns they may have.
· You will be responsible for the performance of our service and parts departments across the 3 depots. This includes reporting profitability and KPI’s on a regular schedule.
· You will lead health and safety across the 3 depots, experience in this field would be beneficial.
· You will plan and organise transport, experience with transport management and CPC would be beneficial.
· You will manage recruitment and staff requirements, this would include carrying out training, disciplinaries and other HR issues.
· You will have an outgoing and friendly personality, excellent communication skills, be highly motivated whilst being organised and have a great eye for detail, as well as being committed and reliable.
