General Manager
Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to join us at 1860, a new bar, bistro and coffee lounge opening soon in Kirkham. This is a hands\-on role for someone confident, organised and experienced in hospitality, who can help lead the team, manage daily operations and deliver a great customer experience from the start. You’ll be involved in staff training, rotas, stock control, service standards, opening/closing procedures and supporting the owners as the venue launches and grows. We’re looking for someone who is calm under pressure, reliable, friendly, professional and able to lead by example. Experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, bistro or similar venue is Essential.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience, ideally within retail or sales sectors
- Supervising experience with a focus on team management and leadership
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; phone etiquette is essential
- Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance
- Time management skills with a proactive approach to problem\-solving
- Organised in handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
