We are currently looking for Science teachers to join our expanding team at the Southall \& Perivale branch.

You must be educated in the field of your subject and be able to work with children aged from 5 to 16 years old.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to provide personalised instruction to students aiming to improve and achieve their academic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or young learners. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ educational journeys through engaging and effective tutoring sessions.

Duties

  • Deliver tailored GCSE Science lessons that cater to individual student needs and learning styles

  • Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials to support student progress

  • Assess student understanding through regular evaluations and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

  • Foster a supportive and motivating learning environment to build confidence and enthusiasm for Science

  • Monitor and record student performance, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate

  • Assist students in preparing for examinations by practising exam techniques and reviewing key topics

  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, or school staff to ensure alignment of learning objectives and progress
Requirements
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE Science or equivalent qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and examination requirements

  • Experience working with children or young learners, including those with special educational needs is desirable

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and engagingly

  • Organised, patient, and adaptable approach to meet diverse learner needs

  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence in students
Pay: Up to £14\.00 per hour
