Greater Manchester / Wigan and surrounding areas £40,000–£55,000 basic salary depending on experience \& qualifications Overtime available Company van \& fuel card Monday–Friday option for saturday
Due to one of our engineers re locating , SafegasUK Ltd is looking for an experienced Gas Service \& Breakdown Engineer to join our team.
This is not a trainee or newly qualified position. A minimum of 3 years’ experience working independently as a gas service/breakdown engineer is essential.
The role is predominantly domestic boiler servicing, landlord gas safety checks, repairs and breakdowns, with occasional commercial work.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, manage their own workload and confidently service, diagnose and repair a wide range of boilers without supervision.
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a domestic gas service/breakdown engineer Current domestic gas qualifications Strong boiler servicing and fault\-finding experience Confident working independently Full UK driving licence Reliable, professional and good with customers
- Commercial gas qualifications and experience OFTEC/oil qualifications and experience
- £42,000–£55,000 basic salary depending on experience and qualifications Overtime available for additional earnings Company van \& fuel card Monday–Friday working Established customer base and consistent workload Predominantly service and maintenance work Long\-term position with an established local company.
