The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Subcontractor Plumber to join us on a subcontract basis, to help us one day per week. You’ll be working independently on a variety of jobs, including:

• Small plumbing maintenance (taps, toilets, leaks, radiators, etc.)


• Boilers services and repairs


• Some installations (bathrooms, radiators, boilers, etc.)


• Completing 2–3 smaller jobs per day or 1 larger job, depending on schedule

• £300 day rate (8am\-4\.30pm), paid weekly


• Scope for higher rates of pay once established and trained on quoting/invoicing


• Potential for more work as the business grows


• Well\-organised systems and job scheduling

• Experienced plumber (4\+ years preferred) with strong maintenance and fault\-finding skills


• Independent problem\-solving ability


• Capable of making on\-the\-job decisions to keep customers happy


• Able to identify and purchase required materials to complete jobs


• Must be fully insured


• Own van and tools


• Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills


• Gas Safe not essential, but an advantage


• Willingness to learn quoting/invoicing systems (training provided)
