Gas Service \& Repair Engineer

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Location: RH \& BN postcode areas
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 42\.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday \+ on\-call requirements
Holiday: 25 days \+ Bank Holidays

The Role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Service \& Repair Engineer to join a well\-established and growing organisation covering the RH and BN postcode areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a secure, long\-term position, competitive salary and a strong benefits package.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic heating and hot water systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out gas servicing, maintenance and repair work across domestic properties


• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently


• Ensuring all work is completed in line with gas safety regulations and industry standards


• Providing excellent customer service to residents and tenants


• Communicating clearly with customers regarding works and any follow\-up requirements


• Completing all necessary paperwork and job records, both electronically and manually


• Working independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance


• Participating in the on\-call rota

What We’re Looking For:

• Full relevant ACS: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 \& CKR1 – essential


• Previous experience working as a domestic Gas Service \& Repair Engineer


• Previous Social Housing Experience


• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards


• Full UK driving licence


• Excellent fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills


• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload


• Good communication and customer service skills


• Professional, reliable and approachable attitude
