Duties

• Assist in the installation, servicing, and repair of gas appliances and systems following safety protocols and industry standards


• Conduct routine inspections of gas equipment to identify potential issues or hazards


• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools to carry out maintenance tasks effectively


• Support with assembly of components and systems for new installations or upgrades


• Perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or materials safely and efficiently


• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspection reports and service logs


• Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and technical precision

Qualifications

• Newly qualified in gas engineering or a related discipline with relevant certifications


• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems


• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments


• Strong basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting


• Valid commercial driving license is preferred for site travel and transportation needs


• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork
