Gas Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting gas systems across various residential sites. Your expertise will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications


• Conduct thorough inspections of gas lines, meters, valves, and related equipment to identify issues or potential hazards


• Use hand tools, power tools, plumbing tools, and carpentry skills to complete installation and maintenance projects efficiently


• Carry out heavy lifting when handling equipment or materials safely and in line with health and safety guidelines


• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and maintenance logs


• Drive to various job sites to transport tools, equipment, or materials as needed

Skills \& Qualifications

• Full ACS domestic tickets required (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1\)


• LPG qualification desirable (e.g. LPG1, LPGCU1\)


• Gas Safe registered (or eligible for registration)


• Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to gas system work


• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical principles related to gas infrastructure


• Basic plumbing skills required (e.g. pipework, fittings, minor leak repairs)


• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry for installation tasks


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols


• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting


• Mechanical knowledge of gas appliances and related systems


• Full UK clean driving licence


• Assembly skills for constructing or modifying components as required

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£42,500\.00 per year
