Gameplay & UI Developer

Accountabilities:

You will contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of a live mobile game, taking ownership of features and improvements while maintaining a high standard of quality and player experience.

• Develop client-facing gameplay features with a strong focus on UI, animations, visual polish, and overall user experience.


• Design and implement core gameplay improvements that enhance engagement and playability.


• Develop new meta features and systems that expand the game's experience.


• Enhance, maintain, and refine existing gameplay and technical systems.


• Bring innovative ideas and creative approaches to gameplay features while adapting them to the game's established experience.


• Contribute to game design decisions and help translate concepts into polished, playable experiences.


• Participate in testing, iteration, and refinement based on player feedback and team insights.


• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, artists, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary environment.


• Identify and resolve technical challenges while maintaining strong performance and optimization.


• Take ownership of projects and features according to your individual strengths and areas of expertise.


• Contribute to maintaining high technical and creative standards across the game.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a hands-on game developer with strong Unity and C# expertise, proven mobile game experience, and a passion for building polished and entertaining player experiences.

• 5+ years of professional experience working with C# and Unity.


• Proven track record of developing and shipping successful mobile games.


• Strong understanding of gameplay development and the casual mobile gaming market.


• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization, performance, and technical quality.


• Experience developing UI, animations, gameplay systems, or other player-facing features.


• Exceptional expertise in a specialized area such as animation, particle systems, shaders, architecture, performance optimization, or networking is a strong advantage.


• Creative and hands-on approach to development, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


• Ability to contribute ideas and make practical decisions in a fast-moving game development environment.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.


• Ability to work effectively with senior, multidisciplinary teams and take ownership of assigned features.

• Fully remote position within CET ±2 hours.
