Base Furnishings is looking for a reliable, hardworking and professional Furniture Installer \& Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Perivale UB6.

Base Furnishings supplies stylish and practical furniture packages to BTR developers, estate agents, landlords, private investors and residential property clients. Our work involves delivering, installing and presenting furniture to a high standard in finished homes, so care, professionalism and attention to detail are essential.

This role is best suited to someone with previous experience in furniture installation, furniture delivery, removals, white\-glove delivery, flat\-pack assembly or a similar hands\-on role. We are also open to candidates from strong removals or furniture delivery backgrounds who are looking to develop their installation skills.

Location: Perivale UB6
Job Type: Full\-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Some weekend or out\-of\-hours work may be required with notice.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and skill level. Higher rates are available for candidates with proven furniture installation and fitting experience.

Your Role Will Include

• Loading and unloading vans at our Perivale warehouse


• Driving to delivery sites across London, the M25 and surrounding areas


• Delivering, installing and assembling furniture in residential properties


• Handling furniture carefully in finished homes


• Installing and positioning furniture, kitchen packs, prints, mirrors and accessories


• Liaising professionally with clients, agents, landlords and concierges


• Collecting keys, managing site access and completing delivery notes


• Taking photos and updating delivery progress via WhatsApp


• Learning to measure and fit blinds and curtains, with full training provided

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in furniture installation, furniture delivery, removals, white\-glove delivery or a similar hands\-on role


• Full UK driving licence


• Experience driving vans


• Confident with heavy lifting and manual handling


• Good spoken English and strong communication skills


• Professional appearance and attitude


• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team


• Comfortable working in residential properties and finished homes


• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt on the job

Preferred Experience

• Furniture installation and flat\-pack assembly


• White\-glove delivery or removals experience


• Property furnishing projects


• Blind and curtain fitting


• Experience working with estate agents, landlords, developers or residential clients

Please Note

This is a hands\-on furniture installation and delivery role involving heavy lifting, assembly, working in finished residential properties and driving vans.

Applicants should have previous experience in furniture installation, furniture delivery, removals, white\-glove delivery, flat\-pack assembly or a similar practical role. Parcel delivery, food delivery or courier experience alone is unlikely to be suitable.
