At Strathcarron Hospice, our fundraising team plays a vital role in helping raise funds to provide exceptional care and support to patients and families affected by life\-limiting illness.
We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Fundraising Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to our fundraising activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute behind the scenes to events, campaigns, donor stewardship, and community engagement initiatives that make a real difference.
The Role
As a Fundraising Administration Assistant, you will support the fundraising team with a wide range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth delivery of fundraising activities and excellent supporter experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate supporter and donor records on the fundraising database
- Processing donations, sponsorship income, and Gift Aid claims
- Preparing thank you letters, acknowledgements, and supporter communications
- Supporting the organisation and administration of fundraising events and campaigns
- Assisting with event registrations and participant enquiries
- Producing reports and data for fundraising activities
- Monitoring fundraising inboxes and responding to supporter enquiries
- Processing collection tins and recording income received
- Ordering fundraising materials and maintaining stock levels
- Providing general administrative support to the Fundraising Team
- The post is subject to a Level 2 check by Disclosure Scotland.
All new employees will be subject to a minimum of 3 months’ probationary period, during which performance and suitability for the role will be assessed.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Essential:\-
- Experienced in an administrative role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to supporting the Hospice's work
- Experience working in a fundraising, charity, or customer\-facing environment
- Knowledge of Gift Aid processes
- Experience using CRM or fundraising databases
- Experience supporting events or community engagement activities
- Understanding of the charity sector
