Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fundraiser to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting our mission, engaging with the community, and securing vital funding to support our programmes. Duties
- Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to ensure ongoing support.
- Manage donor databases using CRM software, including 'Raiser's Edge', to track engagement and donations.
- Organise and participate in fundraising events, campaigns, and outreach activities to raise awareness and funds.
- Prepare compelling proposals, reports, and presentations to communicate organisational needs and impact.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and public relations initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and supporters, ensuring positive engagement experiences.
- Monitor fundraising progress against targets and prepare regular updates for senior management.
- Represent the organisation at community events, networking functions, and public engagements.
- Proven experience in fundraising or related roles within non\-profit organisations or charitable sectors.
- Strong background in marketing, relationship management, and public relations.
- Familiarity with CRM software, particularly 'Raiser's Edge', is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Experience organising events or campaigns that have successfully raised funds or increased awareness.
- Knowledge of fundraising regulations, ethical standards, and best practices is advantageous.
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and rapport\-building capabilities.
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£29,250\.00 per year
