Task Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis, Solution Design \& Technical Documentation

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, customers, and external partners to gather, analyze, and challenge business requirements.


• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, technical designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.


• Analyze existing applications, APIs, and integrations to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and modernization.


• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, API documentation, integration specifications, and operational procedures.


• Participate in solution design sessions and contribute to the definition of scalable and maintainable technical architectures.

Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and best development practices.

• API Development \& Backend Engineering


• Design, develop, maintain, and support RESTful APIs that enable integration between Cargolux systems, customer applications, and external marketplaces.


• Implement and maintain backend services using C\# and .NET technologies .


• Develop secure, scalable, and high\-performance API solutions supporting the Digital Sales ecosystem.


• Implement API authentication, authorization, monitoring, logging, and error\-handling mechanisms.


• Participate in API lifecycle management, including design, versioning, deployment, and decommissioning activities.


• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of API\-related incidents and performance issues.

Contribute to the modernization of existing integrations and support the API migration roadmap.

• Front\-End Development \& User Experience


• Design, develop, and maintain user\-facing components for digital products using React and modern front\-end development frameworks.


• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that enhance customer experience and usability.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective web solutions.


• Ensure frontend applications comply with accessibility, security, and performance standards.

Optimize application performance and user experience across multiple devices and platforms.

• Product Lifecycle Management


• Manage and support the lifecycle of digital products, including the Customer Portal, Customer APIs, Marketplaces APIs, and related Digital Sales solutions.


• Monitor application availability, reliability, performance, and usage metrics.


• Support release management processes, software deployments, and production rollouts.


• Contribute to product roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Ensure compliance with security, governance, audit, and data protection requirements.

Participate in incident management and problem management activities for business\-critical digital services.

• Integration \& Interoperability


• Design and implement integrations between internal applications, customer systems, and third\-party platforms.


• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.


• Support EDI, API, and cloud\-based integration initiatives.


• Validate integration solutions through functional, performance, and end\-to\-end testing.

Identify and resolve integration bottlenecks, performance issues, and data consistency challenges.

• Testing, Quality Assurance \& DevOps


• Define and execute unit and integration testing activities.


• Suggest automated testing strategies where applicable.


• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.


• Ensure all delivered solutions meet quality, security, and performance standards.

Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.

• Operational Support \& Continuous Improvement


• Provide Level 3 support for Digital Sales applications and integrations.


• Investigate and resolve production issues impacting customer\-facing digital solutions.


• Monitor system health and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.


• Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving platform stability.

Support business continuity and operational resilience across critical customer\-facing applications.

• Essential requirements for the position:


• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.


• Experience in full\-stack development (.NET/C\#, React).


• Knowledge of Azure services and API development.


• Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively within a team.


• Problem\-solving skills and experience with debugging and optimization.


• Be fluent in both spoken and written English; other languages are considered as an advantage.

• Based in Luxembourg Headquarters with regular office presence.
