Full Time Qualified Dental Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment. Duties

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.


• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment.


• Provide patients with pre\- and post\-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand their care plans.


• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.


• Support infection control protocols by sterilising instruments and managing clinical waste appropriately.


• Offer reassurance and support to anxious patients, demonstrating excellent communication skills.


• Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow within the practice.


• Stock and organise dental supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low.

• Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable.


• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.


• Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.


• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.


• Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.


• Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.


• A recognised qualification in dental nursing and GDC registration is mandatory. This position provides an engaging environment for those committed to delivering exceptional patient care while developing their professional skills within a supportive team.

Pay: From £13\.50 per hour
