Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full\-time Live\-In Carer to provide high\-quality care and support to individuals in their private residence. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well\-being of clients, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive and professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised care according to individual care plans, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.

  • Support clients with daily routines, including meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.

  • Monitor and report on clients’ health status, liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.

  • Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, Office staff and team members to ensure consistent and effective care delivery.

  • Assist with medication management as per prescribed instructions.

  • Ensure the safety of clients by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, following organisational policies.

  • Support clients’ emotional well\-being through empathetic communication and companionship.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is preferred.

  • Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation needs.

  • Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement personalised care routines effectively.

  • Good understanding of IT systems used for documentation and communication purposes.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.

  • Flexibility to work full\-time hours in a live\-in capacity, working on a rota basis of 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Can be flexible for client and carer requirements. This role is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing compassionate support within a professional setting, ensuring the dignity and comfort of those they assist.
Pay: £134\.41\-£160\.41 per day
