We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Full Time Care Assistants to join our team. The role involves providing high\-quality support and care to individuals within care homes and home care settings. Successful candidates will play a vital part in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of those they assist, ensuring a respectful and caring environment. Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility

  • Supporting individuals with their care plans to meet personalised needs

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing

  • Assisting with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals

  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided in accordance with organisational policies

  • Communicating effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals

  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety regulations

  • Supporting individuals in their daily routines within both care home and home care settings
Skills
  • Experience or interest in working within a care home or home care environment is desirable

  • Driving license is preferred due to location

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English

  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and updating care plans

  • Compassionate nature with excellent organisational abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents and colleagues

  • Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and sensitively
This role requires applicants to be organised, empathetic, and proactive in delivering exceptional care. Candidates should be committed to maintaining dignity and independence for those they support while adhering to organisational policies and procedures.

Rate of Pay: £12\.85 weekdays and £13\.85 for weekends

Hours: Minimum of 24hrs per week to 42hrs to include alternate weekends
