FULL TIME ASSISTANT SHOP MANAGER

David Mellor Design is a world\-renowned manufacturer and retailer of high\-end design cutlery, kitchenware and tableware based just outside Sheffield in stunning grounds within the Peak Park village of Hathersage.

Skills \& Experience Required

We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic individual to join our small, friendly team as an Assistant Manager at our prestigious Country Shop in Hathersage selling our famous cutlery, kitchenware and British crafts.

The primary role of the Assistant Manager is to provide support for the Manager, deputising in their absence to ensure the smooth running of the shop floor on a day to day basis. You will be expected to quickly acquire expert knowledge of our brand and products as well as maintaining visual merchandising standards and appropriate stock levels, leading and motivating team members, assisting with the daily store operations and providing the very highest level of customer service.

The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial mindset with experience in high\-end retail, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.

An interest in cooking, crafts, design and aesthetics is advantageous.

Our shops specialise in tableware and kitchenware carefully selected as the best on the international market in terms of design and quality, as well as selling our world renowned cutlery alongside traditional British craft items. Many of our products are of our own design and exclusive to the David Mellor shops.

Hours

40 hours per week, on a 5 day rota basis (inc. 1 weekend day)

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000\.00 per year
