Fuelling Depot Support Operator
North Air is responsible for providing into\-plane services on behalf of major oil companies. We operate at 20 locations across the UK, where we carry out approximately 300 000 fuelling events per year. We aim to provide safe, reliable and efficient into\-plane services to our customers' satisfaction.

This is a 6 month FTC until December 2026\. 37\.5 hours rostered over 7 days
The salary is £24,996 \+ £3,111 shift allowance.
To carry out general activities within the fuel farm to provide additional assistance to the supervisors and yardman which will support the efficiency of the operation.
Operational Yard Activities:
- To maintain and improve the Yard / Buildings with minor maintenance activities as tasked by the Manager
- Cleaning of fixed or mobile equipment where required
- General site housekeeping tasks to support the efficient and cost\-effective upkeep of the site
- Checking the documentation on incoming consignments is correct and that it corresponds to the transport concerned.
- Visual inspection and control checks on incoming material, including the checking of seals on vehicles if present.
- Accountable for supporting deliveries and the discharge of fuel into storage.
- Release of product into refuelling vehicles, Batching Procedure.
- Sampling of aviation products.
- Maintaining records of stock/quality/equipment checks as appropriate.
- Fuelling vehicle loading
- Adding volume to tank stock
- Use of conversion tables to convert depth (tape dip reading) into volume
- QC activities to include Sampling, checking continuity
- Tank / stock level management activities
- General plant and vehicle maintenance activities
- Be HSSE minded and work safely at all times.
- Be fully conversant and comply with all Company and Legislated HSE requirements which apply to the Airfield Operation.
- Strictly adhere to the North Air H\&S and Operational Guidelines and Safety Management System (SMS).
- Must always report all unsafe acts and conditions and safety incidents to his / her supervisor.

Qualifications \& Experience:
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Numeracy Skills
- Experience of Loading would be an advantage.
- Experience of Shunting would be an advantage.
- HGV Class 1 License
Contract length: 6 months
