Veridi Technologies is an award\-winning Dutch company developing systems for analysing soil biodiversity and diagnosing plant pathogens on an industrial scale.

We are looking for a talented and motivated frontend developer intern with an eye for design to join our dynamic team. As a member of our development team, you will play a role in the creation and enhancement of our desktop application using Electron, React, and Typescript.

We provide an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands\-on experience in frontend development. As a frontend developer intern at Veridi Technologies, you will have the chance to work on our cutting\-edge software that has the potential to revolutionise microscopy and advance scientific research with a strong ecological impact.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to design and implement user interfaces and functionality for our desktop application


• Develop and maintain frontend components using Electron, React, and Typescript


• Ensure a consistent and high\-quality user experience across the application


• Share knowledge and provide guidance on frontend best practices within the team


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our development workflow

Requirements:

• Having a degree/currently enrolled in the study of Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field


• Proficient in JavaScript/Typescript; familiarity with React and Electron is a plus


• Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross\-functional team


• Excellent communication in English and teamwork abilities


• Self\-motivated with a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and technologies


• Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git

Nice to have:

• Experience in developing and designing user interfaces


• Knowledge of modern frontend development tools and practices


• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools such as Figma
