Front Office & Tourism Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and professional Rome Colosseum \& Vatican Expert to join our growing international tourism team in Rome.

This is a full\-time, on\-site office position for someone who enjoys working with people, handling daily tourism operations, and sharing the beauty of Rome with travelers from around the world.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and assist guests professionally while coordinating tours and experiences related to the Colosseum, Vatican, and other major attractions in Rome


• Manage reservations, schedules, check\-ins, and daily administrative tasks using Rezdy and other booking management systems


• Handle guest requests, operational issues, and last\-minute changes efficiently while maintaining a calm and positive attitude in a fast\-paced tourism environment


• Promote additional tours and experiences while delivering excellent customer service


• Work closely with guides, drivers, and operational staff to ensure smooth daily activities and exceptional guest experiences


• Provide local recommendations, insider tips, and useful information about Rome’s attractions, culture, and logistics as a “Rome Expert”

• Minimum 3 years of experience in tourism, travel operators, tour companies, or similar tourism\-related roles


• Previous experience working with tours related to the Colosseum, Vatican, or Rome attractions is highly preferred


• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, and booking software


• Experience using Rezdy or other booking management systems (Rezdy is a strong plus)


• Fluent English required; Italian and additional languages are an advantage


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast\-paced tourism environment


• Professional attitude and strong problem\-solving skills


• Must be able to work full\-time on\-site in Rome (office\-based position)


• Must hold a valid work permit for Italy


• Must currently be based in or near Rome
