Front of House Receptionist
Sutton Dental \& Implant Clinic – Sutton Coldfield
We are looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised Dental Receptionist to join our team at Sutton Dental \& Implant Clinic.
We are a busy, modern private dental practice offering a wide range of treatments, including general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional patient experience from the very first point of contact through to completion of treatment.
The Role
As a Dental Receptionist, you will play an important role in the day\-to\-day running of the practice and will often be the first and last person our patients speak to.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional experience
- Answering telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries
- Booking, amending and managing appointments
- Managing dentists' diaries effectively and efficiently
- Taking payments and assisting with general patient account queries
- Following up patients and helping to maintain a busy appointment book
- Supporting new patient enquiries and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate team member
- Completing general reception and administrative duties
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Working closely with our dentists, nurses, Treatment Coordinators and management team
- Helping to ensure the reception area remains professional, organised and welcoming
- Following practice policies, confidentiality requirements and GDPR procedures
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and approachable
- Professional in both their communication and appearance
- An excellent communicator, both face\-to\-face and over the telephone
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a busy environment and managing multiple priorities
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
- Proactive and willing to help wherever needed
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
Experience within a private dental or healthcare environment would be particularly beneficial.
