Front of House Manager

We are looking for an energetic, hands\-on Manager to lead our café and wine bar in Portmarnock. This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in hospitality, loves delivering exceptional customer experiences, and is equally comfortable behind an espresso machine as they are leading a team and managing day\-to\-day operations.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the atmosphere of the venue, maintaining high standards across service and product quality, and helping junior team members grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the café and, when required, our wine bar


• Prepare and serve high\-quality specialty coffee to an exceptional standard


• Train, mentor, and support junior staff members


• Deliver consistently excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere


• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships


• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and communication


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation


• Handle opening and closing procedures


• Support rostering, team management, and operational efficiency


• Ensure compliance with food safety and health \& safety standards

• Previous experience in a management or senior supervisory hospitality role


• Strong barista skills and passion for speciality coffee


• Excellent leadership and communication skills


• A hands\-on attitude with a willingness to lead from the floor


• Strong organisational and stock management ability


• Calm under pressure with great attention to detail


• Passion for hospitality, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences
