This is a second shift position working hours will be 11:0AM - 7:00PM EST.
Proofreads a high volume of marketing materials and brand communications, including product packaging, in-store signage for retail and channel partners, e-commerce, and brand guidelines. Works closely with editors and the legal, production, and project marketing teams to ensure accuracy and integrity across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Ensuring brand quality and consistency across thousands of print and digital mechanicals distributed to global partners</li>
<li>Proofreading marketing collateral, such as comparison signs, collections signs, product pages, features pages, and marketing guides</li>
<li>Dedication to brand excellence and to maintaining the highest level of quality and confidentiality</li>
<li>Ability to check specs beyond grammar sharing some QA/QC responsibilities</li>
<li>Work within Adobe Acrobat or other linked pending review</li>
<li>Be the keeper on brand guidelines for major national and global brands</li>
<li>Precise proofreading for all deliverables in a timely manner</li>
<li>Communicate with offshore teams and PMs to transfer work through design, proofreading, QA and delivery</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 4 years’ experience in editing, copyediting, and/or proofreading marketing, advertising and technical materials at a publication, design firm, corporate marketing communications department, or ad agency, preferably for a creative or consumer brand</li>
<li>Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work diplomatically in a dynamic, confidential studio environment</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to focus, prioritize, and pivot in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Experience working for global brands</li>
<li>Ability to work with offshore QA teams</li>
<li>An understanding of the production process and of brand channel, retail, interactive, and packaging practices</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills to handle concurrent projects, track milestones, manage active deadlines, advance deliverables, and find solutions to daily challenges</li>
<li>Able to navigate complex processes and tools, including a specialized ticketing system to edit and route deliverables</li>
<li>Flexible during high-volume periods (longer hours and weekends) and able to adapt and assimilate immediately if called on to work for a few hours within an environment of constant change, simultaneous projects, and shifting priorities and timelines</li>
<li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop, Fido, and iWork</li>
