Cedar is currently partnered with an international, PE-backed business to secure an Interim FP&A Analyst.
Based in Central London, this role will support a number of high-impact reporting, systems and commercial finance improvement initiatives across a complex multi-entity environment.

This fast-evolving organisation operates across multiple entities and international jurisdictions and is continuing to invest heavily in finance infrastructure, reporting capability and operational scalability.
The business is focused on improving reporting quality, strengthening governance, enhancing ERP utilisation and delivering greater visibility across finance and operational performance.
The environment is hands-on, commercially driven and delivery-focused, with finance transformation and reporting improvement sitting high on the leadership agenda.
The Role
As Interim FP&A Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards and management reporting capability
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting processes
- Improving reporting automation, forecasting visibility and operational insight
- Supporting the optimisation and ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Investigating reporting inconsistencies, transactional anomalies and data integrity issues
- Supporting finance transformation and reporting improvement initiatives across the group
- Delivering variance analysis, commercial reporting and performance insight to senior stakeholders
- Automating manual finance processes and improving reporting efficiency
- Improving governance across finance systems, reporting structures and controls
- Supporting Purchase-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash process improvements
- Assisting with onboarding additional entities into the ERP environment
- Supporting process documentation, controls standardisation and systems remediation activity
- Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders to identify areas of inefficiency and implement practical improvements
You will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous FP&A, commercial finance, finance transformation or finance analyst experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Advanced Power BI reporting and dashboard capability
- Strong Excel, modelling and financial data analysis skills
- Experience improving reporting processes, controls and finance systems governance
- Exposure to ERP optimisation, remediation or finance transformation projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A hands-on, practical and delivery-focused approach
- The ability to operate effectively within fast-paced and evolving environments
As well as a competitive day rate of £400-£450 per day, this contract offers the opportunity to join a growing and highly commercial organisation during a critical stage of finance and operational transformation.
The role provides broad exposure across reporting, systems, finance operations and business improvement initiatives, working closely with senior finance leadership in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
