Founding Product Manager

About the Role

A seed\-funded B2B SaaS startup in the home services / trades vertical is hiring a Founding Product Manager to lead product direction end\-to\-end. This is a hands\-on builder role at the heart of a small, ambitious team — you will ship features with engineering, learn fast from users, and shape how product work scales. If you want real ownership, direct impact, and zero management layers, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Own product direction from problem discovery through scoping, design, and shipping.


• Translate company goals into clear product bets, priorities, and tradeoffs.


• Work closely with engineering to ship features quickly and iterate in tight loops.


• Make product decisions with incomplete data and course\-correct as needed.


• Develop a deep understanding of users, workflows, and real\-world constraints in the trades/home services sector.


• Bring clarity to the team on what is being built, why, and what done looks like.


• Help define how product work happens as the company scales.


• Operate in a fast, low\-ceremony environment with direct feedback and high velocity.

What We're Looking For

• High agency: You take ownership, push things forward, and do not wait for permission.


• AI\-native mindset: Familiarity with AI tools and AI\-first product patterns is essential.


• Technical understanding: Ability to reason about systems, constraints, and engineering tradeoffs.


• Product taste: Clear opinions on what makes a product great, with attention to UX and UI details.


• End\-to\-end PM experience: Prior experience owning a product from discovery to shipping in a fast\-paced, early\-stage environment.


• Domain fit: Experience building products for crafts, trades, or home services SMBs is a strong plus.


• Decision\-making under uncertainty: Comfortable being wrong and correcting course quickly.


• Language skills: Fluent German (spoken and written) and fluent English are both required.


• Bonus: Side projects or things you have built on your own.

Compensation \& Benefits

• Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 per year

Location

This role is fully on\-site in Berlin\-Mitte, Germany. Daily in\-office presence is expected.
