Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About the Role

We are a seed/Series A B2B SaaS company building AI\-powered automation for enterprise sales teams. Our platform integrates with CRMs and ERPs to eliminate manual work and improve sales efficiency. We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to sit at the intersection of engineering, AI, and enterprise operations — joining complex customer onboardings, building deep integrations, and shaping the product roadmap from the field.

What You'll Do

• Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their workflows and system landscapes.


• Build and configure deep integrations with CRMs and ERPs including SAP Sales Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, and Salesforce.


• Implement APIs, data flows, and automation logic to ensure reliable CRM/ERP data ingestion.


• Write Python scripts, craft complex AI prompts, and deliver custom solutions tailored to customer needs.


• Translate business workflows into agent logic, prompt configurations, and automation rules.


• Improve automation coverage and iterate on AI outputs based on real customer feedback.


• Identify recurring enterprise needs and help translate them into scalable product features.


• Work closely with Product and Engineering to upstream field solutions and shape the roadmap.


• Partner with Customer Success during onboardings and support Sales on technical feasibility.


• Operate independently on technical execution while keeping on\-site stakeholders aligned.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of hands\-on engineering experience delivering enterprise integrations and automation.


• Educational background in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a top\-tier technical university.


• Strong experience working with APIs and system integrations in enterprise CRM/ERP environments (SAP Sales Cloud, Salesforce, MS Dynamics).


• Solid Python skills; comfort working hands\-on with production systems. SQL is a plus.


• Interest or experience with AI prompting, agent systems, and workflow automation.


• Ability to translate business requirements into concrete technical logic and scalable solutions.


• Proven ownership mindset with a preference for shipping working solutions.


• Enjoys bridging business and engineering — understanding how companies operate is a genuine interest.


• English at C2 level is required; German at C2 level is a strong plus.


• No visa sponsorship available.

Location

This is a full\-time, on\-site role based in Munich, Germany. You will work directly with enterprise customers and internal teams from our Munich office.
