Job Overview* Maintain high standards of service continuity to ensure the prompt and efficient delivery, movement, storage and collection of raw materials, intermediates and finished products between Building 13 Warehouse, B2C Warehouse and Building 2 production areas.
- Support the day\-to\-day operation of the B2C Warehouse, ensuring materials and finished products are received, stored, moved and dispatched safely and efficiently in line with site procedures and operational requirements.
- Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the individual at regular intervals to meet the changing operational needs of the business.
- To operate warehouse manual handling equipment to include high reach and counterbalance forklift trucks, trailer tow tractors, ride on and push pallet trucks and pallet inverters to move, load, wrap and safely store palletised products on site.
- All activities conducted as part of this service will be carried out in line with the GSK procedures and policies that apply. The main activities are covered in GSK SOP MSP1313: Trailer Service Production Units and must be adhered to at all times
- Ensure full compliance to GXP operating standards of cleaning, PPE, paperwork and conduct where applicable. To comply with GSK and Mitie PSOPs for standard working practices
- Ensure good standards of housekeeping in all areas used by the Distribution and Logistics team
- Report all damage and maintenance required on equipment to GSK immediately to avoid service disruption.
- To report any non\-conformances to Mitie line management
- Escalate any individual or team issues to the shift lead
- Patricipate in scheduled and ad hoc Mitie Tool Box Talks .
- Participate in GSK MyLearning and Mitie Learning Hub training requirements and ensure 100% compliance to KPI
- Carry out any other reasonable requests
- Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system
