Are you an experienced Forklift Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join a busy and expanding team covering Westbury and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment while benefiting from ongoing training, strong earning potential, and genuine career progression.

The Role

As a Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment at customer sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults

  • Attending breakdowns and responding to customer call\-outs

  • Completing inspections and safety checks

  • Accurately recording work completed and parts used

  • Delivering a high standard of customer service on\-site

  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

  • Experience diagnosing and repairing faults on forklift trucks or related equipment

  • The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

  • A positive attitude and strong customer\-facing skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence
