P C Howard Ltd offers a logistic solution for the Distribution and Warehousing of palletised goods. We operate over 100 vehicles and 150 trailers across our sites, combined with over 250\.000 sq. feet of warehousing.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and organise materials within the warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems are highly desirable. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to smooth logistics operations in a fast\-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas
- Organise materials within the warehouse according to company procedures
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and handling
- Conduct routine daily forklift inspections
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking and storage to prevent damage or accidents
- Support with general warehouse duties including material handling, moving stock, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments
- Valid forklift licence with proven experience operating forklift trucks in a busy warehouse setting
- Experience in materials handling, loading \& unloading, and shipping \& receiving procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
Monday – Friday
8am – 7pm

Pay: From £35,750\.00 per year
