FORECOURT MANAGER / SALES ASSISTANT – FALKIRK VAN SALES

THE ROLE

Falkirk Van Sales is looking for an experienced and motivated Forecourt Manager / Sales Assistant to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional who is confident in vehicle sales, management, customer service and the day\-to\-day running of a busy commercial vehicle forecourt.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales, overseeing the forecourt and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the day\-to\-day running of the forecourt


• Driving sales performance and achieving monthly targets


• Handling customer enquiries both face\-to\-face and over the telephone


• Generating and converting new sales opportunities


• Conducting vehicle viewings and test drives


• Negotiating vehicle sales and finance packages


• Appraising and valuing part\-exchange vehicles


• Overseeing vehicle handovers and ensuring customers receive excellent service


• Ensuring all vehicles are presented to a high retail standard


• Managing vehicle movements and forecourt presentation


• Ensuring stock is correctly priced, advertised and displayed


• Dealing with customer queries and resolving any issues professionally


• Helping to develop and grow the business

We are looking for someone who is driven, confident and commercially minded, with a genuine passion for the motor trade.

You should have:

• Previous experience in vehicle sales or motor trade management


• Proven experience in achieving sales targets


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills


• A strong understanding of the used vehicle market


• Excellent customer service skills


• A professional and confident manner


• Strong organisational skills


• The ability to work under pressure in a busy environment


• Good attention to detail


• The ability to work independently and use your own initiative


• A full UK driving licence
