Responsibilities:**

*Growing the good credentials and culture within BP – a true foodie with a passion to deliver quality and freshness through market leading innovation.

  • You will be developing both food & coffee for wild bean café UK - A strong understanding and experience in developing drinks in coffee and iced drinks innovation, along with food within café / hospitality is critical to success in this role

  • Utilize Agility core practices to develop, implement, and support the delivery of new food service offerings and improvements, working closely withcategory, technical & operations

  • Apply Analytical Thinking and Customer data knowledge to identify market trends, customer needs, and performance gaps within the food service sector, with a closelens on competitive set

  • Develop and implement strategies that demonstrate aligned with category, demonstrating a strong understanding of Commercial Acumen, ensuring profitability and return on investment for food service initiatives through not only quality products but labour, consumables

  • Effectively communicate food service strategies, plans, and results to internal and external stakeholders through strong Communication skills.

  • Champion Customer centric thinking, ensuring all food service developments prioritize and enhance the customer experience.

  • Facilitate Digital Collaboration within cross-functional teams to streamline food service development processes.

  • Maintain and expand Industry knowledge and advocacy within the food service and retail sectors, identifying standard methodologies and competitive advantages.

  • Promote Knowledge Sharing across the organization regarding food service innovations, successes, and lessons learned.

  • Execute Negotiation planning and preparation for supplier contracts and partnership agreements relevant to food service.

  • Cultivate strong Partner relationship management with key food service suppliers and external collaborators.

  • Lead and optimize Retail Category Management for food service products, ensuring a compelling and profitable assortment by working collaboratively with the category team

  • Drive Retail territory development initiatives focused on growing formats and optimizing food service offerings across BP sites.

  • Develop and deliver effective Retail training skills programs to ensure consistent execution of food service standards and strategies.
Qualifications:**
  • Demonstrated experience in food service development or a related field within a retail, café, hospitality environment.

  • Shown ability to apply Agility core practices in project management and product development.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and visualization.

  • Excellent commercial competence with a track record of delivering profitable growth through quality food offerings.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • A customer-centric mentality with a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.

  • Proficiency in digital collaboration tools and platforms.

  • In-depth Industry knowledge and advocacy within the food service and retail sectors.

  • Experience in negotiation planning and preparation, and partner relationship management.

  • Solid understanding of Retail Category Management principles.

  • Experience in Retail territory development and implementing retail training programs.
