Location: Melton Constable

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Type: Full-time, Temp - Perm

Our client, based in Melton Constable, is a modern and growing online cake business producing a fantastic range of cakes for customers across the UK through their website and network of wholesalers.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and detail-focused Cake Filler to join their team.

The Role

As a Cake Filler, you will be responsible for filling and finishing a variety of cakes that have been prepared by the bakery team. You will be working with buttercream and a range of cake fillings, ensuring each product is prepared consistently and to a high standard before moving through to the finishing and packaging stages.

Duties will include:

• Filling cakes with buttercream and other cake fillings.


• Completing the filling and finishing process to a high standard.


• Preparing a variety of cakes for the next stage of production.


• Carrying out quality checks to ensure cakes meet the required standards.


• Working at speed while maintaining excellent attention to detail.


• Ensuring products are handled carefully and consistently throughout production.


• Keeping work areas and equipment clean and organised.


• Following food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.


• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

The successful candidate will have excellent hand speed, good manual dexterity and exceptional attention to detail. You will need to be able to work efficiently in a busy production environment while maintaining a consistently high standard of finish.

Previous experience in a bakery, food production, factory or catering environment is essential.
