Description

The opportunity has arisen for a Food Market Assistant to work in our Avoca Dunboyne store. There are both full time (40 hours per week) and part time (8 hours per week) positions available with an immediate start. Please indicate in your application whether you are interested in a full\-time or part\-time position.

Responsibilities

• A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.


• Point of Sales system \- scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.


• Replenishing stock, ensuring the Food offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.


• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.


• Cash handling skills.


• Advising \& serving customers.

• Cleanliness/Organisation is essential in this role.


• Excellent timekeeping is a key requirement.


• Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential.


• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• The ability to work well under pressure.


• The capacity to use your initiative.
