The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is looking for a Food \& Beverage Supervisor. The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the F\&B department, ensuring that all M\&C procedures and targets are met.
Key responsibilities as a Food \& Beverage Supervisor:
- Supervise the daily operation of restaurant, bar, room service, and event service areas.
- Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery across all F\&B outlets such as bar, restaurant and room service.
- Lead, motivate, and support the Food \& Beverage team to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Welcome and engage with guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of private events, banqueting, and special functions.
- Monitor staffing levels and support rota planning to ensure operational coverage Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene in line with HACCP regulations.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health \& safety procedures, and brand standards.
- Assist with stock control, inventory management, and minimising wastage.
- Support accurate billing, cash handling, and payment procedures, including use of MICROS systems.
- Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
- Respond calmly and effectively to operational challenges and emergency situations.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Food \& Beverage operations, preferably within hotels or luxury hospitality
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast\-paced environment
- Experience with POS systems, ideally MICROS Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong knowledge of food \& beverage service standards and health \& safety regulations A positive, professional, and team\-oriented attitude
