About the Role
As Food Beverage Manager, you will lead all Food Beverage operations across the hotel, including the Restaurant, Bar, Café and Meetings Events. Working closely with the Hotel Manager and Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high\-performing teams, driving commercial success and ensuring the highest standards of quality, service and compliance across all outlets. This is a hands\-on leadership role requiring a strong operational presence, commercial awareness and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the Food Beverage team.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning across all outlets.
- Drive exceptional guest experiences and consistently high service standards.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement actions to continuously improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards, health safety, food safety, allergen and licensing requirements.
- Manage labour, payroll, food and beverage costs in line with budget and business targets.
- Deliver revenue growth through effective sales initiatives, promotions and outlet visibility.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to maximise business opportunities.
- Oversee stock control, purchasing processes and inventory management.
- Analyse departmental performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead departmental meetings, communicate business objectives and ensure alignment across all teams.
About You
- Previous experience as a Food Beverage Manager, Restaurant General Manager or similar leadership role within a hotel or multi\-outlet hospitality environment.
- Proven experience leading, motivating and developing large teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, payroll, stock control and departmental profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, health safety, allergen management and licensing requirements.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a positive team culture.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a hands\-on approach to leadership.
- Experience overseeing Meetings Events operations.
- Experience within a branded hotel environment.
- Knowledge of systems such as Micros, Fourth or similar hospitality platforms.
- Hospitality qualification or degree.
