Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing food and beverage services, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast\-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage team to ensure efficient service delivery
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Manage the serving of food and beverages, ensuring prompt and courteous customer interactions
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor team performance to optimise productivity
- Assist in training new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and culinary standards
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between front\-of\-house and kitchen operations
- Uphold organisational policies related to health \& safety, alcohol licensing (if applicable), and service excellence
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality roles such as barista or server is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem\-solving
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour suitable for guest interaction
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or culinary arts are advantageous
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£29,500\.00 per year
