Food and Beverage Assistant Manager

As the Food \& Beverage Front of House Assistant Manager, you will support the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant, bar, and event service areas, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and excellent customer service. You will lead by example, supervise the front of house team, and help maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Food \& Beverage Manager with the daily operation of all front of house areas.


• Supervise, motivate, and support the front of house team during shifts.


• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest enquiries or complaints professionally.


• Ensure the restaurant, bar, and function areas are set up and presented to a high standard.


• Monitor service standards and ensure company procedures are followed.


• Help manage staffing levels and support rota planning when required.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in line with company policies.


• Carry out cash handling and end\-of\-shift procedures where required.


• Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.


• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.

• Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory or team leader role.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.


• Good organisational and problem\-solving abilities.


• Knowledge of food hygiene and health \& safety standards.


• Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards.
