  • Ensure food and beverage areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness

  • Ensure there are daily sufficient stocks of food and beverage items to cover the demand of business for that day and week

  • Be responsible for the float and takings at all times

  • Maintain food and drink stock rotation in all food and beverage areas

  • All alcoholic beverages to be served as per the ‘Weights and Measures Act 1963’ and ‘Customs and Excise Act 1952’.

  • Maintain personal hygiene and neat and clean appearance at all times

  • Arrive on duty at the correct time, in the correct uniform

  • Be aware of and report health and safety hazards

  • Ensure that the food and beverage areas are prepared for service and ready to be opened at all times

  • Ensure all guest complaints are dealt with in the correct manner and report to the Duty Manager

  • Ensure that the customer is greeted in a friendly and polite manner and that food and beverage orders are taken promptly and efficiently

  • Observe safe and efficient working methods

  • Provide a professional and efficient service to customers and to take down dirty linen and collect clean.

  • Ensure that all maintenance faults are reported to your manager and in their absences to the duty manager

  • Put forward any ideas for improvements for turnover and profitability to your manager

  • Have an understanding of all our food and beverage products to help ensure all customers receive a professional service

  • Control all wastage and record

  • Comply with all regulations under the ‘Health \& Safety at Work Act, Fire Act and COSHH’

  • Report any accidents to the duty manager

  • Ensure lost property is handed in to the duty manager

  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings

  • Other duties as specified by any of the management team to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.

  • Must be over 18 years old.
Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time

Pay: £24,420\.00\-£32,240\.77 per year
