JOB SPECIFICATION

Izakaya Japanese Bar are looking for experienced front of house restaurant manager to join our team.

We are looking for like minded individuals with a passion for the service industry. An excellent manager with inter\-personal skill to take us to the next level.

Our ideal candidate would have experiences with working and managing multiple locations.

We are a independent restaurant who specializes in high\-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of tradition Japanese small plates, sushi and rice / noodle dishes. You will play a vital role in helping to welcome, serve and managing the bookings. (extra training will be provided).
Expect to demonstrate your skill in customer service and ability to work under a fast past environment during a trial shift.

We are looking for friendly individuals with exceptional talent who work independently and as part of a team.

Roles

1 x Full Time Front of House Manager (35\-46\+ Hrs/pw)

1 x PartTime Front of House Assistant Manager (20\+ Hrs/pw)

The ideal candidate must have :

\- At least 1\-2 years’ previous experience in restaurant industry

\- Ability to lead and manage a team

\- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

\- Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making skills

\- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

\- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays and adhoc evenings

\- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards is a must

\- Knowledge in computer systems and software such as POS systems (SQUARE)

\- Good understanding of social media marketing and social trends (Facebook \& Instagram)

\- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service

\- Ability to think outside the box, run promotions, create events and email marketing.

\- Be punctual and attentive

Pay dependant on experience.

You must already be in and able to work in the UK with no restrictions.
