STM Environmental Consultants Ltd is a small multi\-disciplinary environmental consultancy providing focused and practical advice to both public and private sector clients.

We are seeking motivated individuals to support our Flood Risk and Drainage (SuDS) Team in the preparation of technical reports and the continued growth of our client base. The role has the potential to be hybrid/remote for the right candidate.

Salary

Estimated Range \- £35,000 – £45,000 Negotiable, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a degree in a relevant subject


• Full UK driving licence

• High standard of technical report writing


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment, managing multiple priorities


• Capability and confidence in direct client engagement


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


• A strong and reliable work ethic, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

A minimum of 3 \-5 years of directly relevant experience including the following:

• Drainage modelling packages (i.e. Causeway Flow, Microdrainage)


• AutoCAD


• 1D and 2 D Hydrological modelling using HECRAS/Flood Modeller etc.

• Supporting business development \- including preparing project quotations/tenders and liaising with clients


• Drafting Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategies;


• Reviewing, analysing, and interpreting flood model data;


• Producing clear, concise, and technically robust reports;


• Preparing mapping and figures to support technical submissions;


• Planning and undertaking site investigations;

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year

• Twickenham TW2 6RS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

• Bachelor's (required)

• Environmental Engineering: 3 years (preferred)
