Floating Support Worker
Job Introduction

Horton Housing are currently recruiting for experienced Floating Support Workers to join our established scheme based in Bradford. The annual salary for this role is £26,406 per annum. You will be entitled to 6 weeks holiday (plus bank holidays) and full access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidates will work in consultation with the people we support to create tailored support plans that work towards their individual goals as well as work in conjunction with third\-party agencies where appropriate.

- Be empathetic and caring, showing understanding and respect to people experiencing difficult circumstances
- Have excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to recognise the people we support as experts in their own lives
- Be resilient and adaptable with the ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions in line with our procedures
- Be observant, with the ability to identify risk and follow safeguarding policies
- Good ICT skills
- Experience of supporting people with complex needs, in a paid, voluntary or lived capacity
- A commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- An understanding of, and ability to maintain professional boundaries
- A commitment to undertake any training required for the role
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
- Willingness and ability to work in line with our Values and Behaviours
