Production Operatives Required
Day Shift: 07:00 – 15:30 (30 min unpaid lunch) Late Shift: 15:00\-23:00 (30 min unpaid break)

Your Mission:
In this role, you will be trained to operate a variety of machines and production processes, developing the skills needed to work across multiple areas of our manufacturing operation. You will work flexibly to support different teams and respond to the changing needs of the business, helping to ensure production runs smoothly. This position is suitable for individuals seeking a dynamic role within a fast\-paced environment, committed to maintaining high standards of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assemble and finish timber doors and related products
- Follow standard operating procedures and work orders
- Maintain high quality control standards throughout every task
- Support all teams in achieving daily targets
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organised
- Take ownership of several functions and sections, ensuring productivity and accuracy
- Report any issues or areas for improvement to your manager
- Be flexible in supporting most departments
- Work safely and responsibly, always following H\&S procedures
- Take part in special projects or tasks as directed by the Production Manager
Essential:
- Practical experience with hand held tools in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with operating CNC machinery or other production equipment
- Physical fitness. This is a hands on role involving lifting and standing
- Proven ability to follow instructions and hit deadlines
- Experience working to high quality standards
- Good standard of written and spoken English to understand work orders, follow procedures, and communicate effectively with the team
- Experience with woodworking, carpentry, or timber based manufacturing
- Previous work in a fast paced factory or production environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamworking skills
- Able to read and interpret diagrams and instructions
- Numerate, confident with measurements and basic calculations
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving processes
Pay: £13\.00\-£18\.00 per hour
