Fire and Security Engineer required

We are looking to appoint an experienced Fire \& Security Engineer to join a growing, well\-established Irish\-owned Fire \& Security business.

This is a strong opportunity for a multi\-disciplined Engineer who wants a long\-term position, good technical support, ongoing training and a strong overall package.

The role will involve working across a range of commercial, corporate and enterprise environments, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding, installation and commissioning across Fire and Security systems.

• Salary up to €65,000 depending on experience

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Fire \& Security Engineer


• Strong service and fault\-finding ability


• Experience across Fire, CCTV, Access Control and/or Intruder systems


• Comfortable working independently


• Strong customer\-facing skills


• Good technical and diagnostic ability


• Commercial or enterprise experience advantageous


• Full clean driving licence


• Strong communication and organisational skills


• Keen to continue developing technically

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of Fire \& Security systems


• Reactive fault finding and troubleshooting


• Installation and commissioning of new systems


• Planned preventative maintenance


• Testing and system verification


• Diagnose and resolve technical faults


• Carry out upgrades and modifications to existing systems


• Complete engineer reports and relevant documentation


• Work across Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems


• Liaise directly with customers and site contacts


• Provide a high standard of customer service


• Manage workload and service calls effectively


• Support junior Engineers where required


• Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standards

You do not need experience across every system listed, but a strong multi\-disciplined Fire \& Security background is preferred.
