Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm \& Emergency Lighting Engineer to join our well established company in Northenden, Manchester. This is a permanent position. The normal working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30\-16:30, the successful candidate will be required to participate in a standby rota for call outs.

Skills required:

• Full Driving Licence for use within the UK


• Preferably based within the Manchester area


• Good Working Knowledge \& Application of BS5839\-1, BS5839\-6, BS5266


• FIA qualifications (FIA Units or Foundation route)


• Fire Alarm Maintenance/Installation/Commissioning experience


• Emergency Lighting Maintenance/Installation experience


• Electrical Level 3 technical and vocational qualification or Level 3 Diploma


• Preference given to applicants that have completed the BAFE Fire Extinguisher Technician Diploma


• Leadership \& Teamwork Qualities


• Effective Problem Solving, Decision Making \& Communication


• Willingness to learn

Pay: £33,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

• Fire Alarm: 3 years (preferred)
