<p>Due to the rapid growth and expansion of our business activities in various markets, we have the following full-time 1 year fixed-term contract opening for an experienced, motivated, and technology-oriented individual for a <strong>Czech Financial Translator (English to Czech and vice versa)</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a professional translator with a strong focus on economics and finance, and the ability to work efficiently and independently to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while keeping a strong sense of team collaboration. In this position you will be required to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Translate IBKR’s account application and client account interface</li>
<li>Occasional legal/regulatory translations</li>
<li>Glossary and TM maintenance</li>
<li>Perform quality assurance on existing translations (proofread and edit)</li>
<li>Document processing</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Native Czech speaker</li>
<li>Proficient in English</li>
<li>MA or BA degree in Translation or related discipline</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li>
<li>CAT tool daily operation experience is a requirement (configuration and advanced use is a plus)</li>
<li>Experience with the use of AI technology in an auxiliary function for translation is a strong advantage</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years relevant experience with a financial institution, or translating finance-related content</li>
<li>Knowledge of basic trading terms; familiarity with technical and marketing translation</li>
<li>Proven time-management and organisational skills</li>
<li>Personality: Self-confident, open, flexible, and able to work independently in a team-oriented environment</li>
