An established international bank in London’s West End is seeking a Financial Reporting (FINREP) Manager to join its finance function. This is a hands-on role with oversight responsibilities, offering strong exposure across financial and regulatory reporting.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting, while supervising an Assistant Finance Manager and supporting broader finance initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements (UK GAAP / IFRS)
- Delivering insightful variance analysis and financial commentary
- Managing corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and quarterly tax payments
- Supporting annual audits and preparing disclosure notes
- Strengthening internal controls and ensuring data integrity
- Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including reconciliations and payments
- Assisting with FINREP regulatory reporting
- Driving process improvements and reporting efficiencies
- Providing cover for senior finance leadership when required
- Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- 3+ years’ experience in financial services
- Strong technical knowledge (FRS 102, IFRS 9)
- Experience with tax (corporation tax & VAT)
- Exposure to regulatory reporting (FINREP)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable
- Right to work in the UK is essential
